Ingredients
Scale
- 1 to 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 (10.5 oz) cans cream of chicken soup or cream of onion
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened & cubed
- 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix (or 1 packet)
- 6 oz cooked noodles (egg noodles or pasta of choice)
Optional:
- Shredded cheese for topping
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Add Chicken to Slow Cooker:
Place trimmed chicken breasts into a 6-quart crockpot. - Add Cream Mixture:
Pour in both cans of soup, sprinkle ranch seasoning, and top with cubed cream cheese. - Slow Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours, stirring occasionally. Break up chicken with a spoon as it softens. - Add Cooked Noodles:
Stir in cooked noodles just before serving, or ladle creamy chicken over noodles. - Serve:
Top with shredded cheese and black pepper if desired. Enjoy warm!
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes or stir in a cornstarch slurry.
- Avoid using frozen chicken—it may not reach a safe temp quickly enough in a slow cooker.
- Delicious with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies.
