- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar (67 g)
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar (100 g)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (186 g)
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
- ½–¾ cup Halloween sprinkles
- Candy eyes (optional)
Instructions
- Mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Whisk flour, salt, and baking soda, then add to wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles.
- Scoop dough into 2-tbsp balls, cover, and chill 1–2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place dough balls on lined sheet, 2 inches apart.
- Bake 11–13 minutes until edges are golden.
- Immediately press candy eyes into warm cookies.
- Cool and enjoy.
Notes
- Chill dough at least 1.5 hours for best shape and flavor.
- Freeze baked or unbaked cookies up to 3 months.
- Use an ice cream scoop for even sizes.
