Ingredients

Scale

The Burger Fries

  • 2 large Russet Potatoes, washed and cut into wedges/fries
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (or spray)
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

The Beef

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef (96/4) or 99% Fat-Free Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

The High Protein Special Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Non-Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Sugar-Free Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Pickle Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Finely Diced Pickles (Relish)

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Diced Red Onion
  • Sliced Pickles

Instructions

  1. Prep Potatoes: Cut potatoes into wedges. Soak in a bowl of cold water for 15 minutes to remove starch. Drain and pat completely dry.
  2. Season Fries: Toss dry potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Air Fry: Place fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 18-20 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  4. Cook Beef: While fries cook, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef. Break it up and cook until browned.
  5. Season Beef: Add onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes. Drain any excess liquid.
  6. Make Sauce: Whisk together Greek yogurt, mustard, ketchup, pickle juice, paprika, and diced pickles in a small bowl.
  7. Assemble: Divide crispy fries into 4 bowls. Top with seasoned beef and cheddar cheese (melt cheese slightly if desired).
  8. Top: Add shredded lettuce, onions, and pickles.
  9. Serve: Drizzle generously with the high-protein special sauce.

Notes

  • Meal Prep: Store fries and meat in separate containers. Reheat fries in air fryer (350°F for 4 mins) to crisp them back up. Add cold toppings and sauce after reheating.
  • Low Carb: Swap potatoes for roasted turnips or rutabaga fries.
  • Dairy Free: Use a dairy-free yogurt alternative for the sauce and skip the cheese.
