Description

These Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey Sliders are the ultimate way to repurpose your holiday feast. Juicy turkey, savory stuffing, melted cheese, and tangy cranberry sauce come together in soft rolls baked with buttery poppy seed dressing. Easy to assemble, kid-friendly, and perfect for game day, brunch, or a cozy post-holiday dinner, these sliders are one of the best leftover turkey recipes you’ll ever make.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Honey Mustard Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ⅛ cup mustard

For the Poppy Seed Dressing:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1½ tablespoons honey mustard sauce (from above)
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

For the Sliders:

  • 12 white dinner rolls
  • Honey mustard sauce (from above)
  • Mayonnaise, for spreading
  • 9 thick slices turkey (leftovers work best)
  • 2 cups stuffing
  • 12 slices white cheddar cheese (or Havarti or Muenster)
  • 1 cups cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Make the honey mustard sauce by whisking mayonnaise, honey, and mustard in a bowl.
  3. Make the poppy seed dressing by combining melted butter, poppy seeds, honey mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Slice rolls in half. Spread honey mustard on bottoms and mayonnaise on tops.
  5. Layer turkey, stuffing, cheese, and cranberry sauce on each roll. Place tops back on.
  6. Arrange sliders in baking dish and drizzle generously with poppy seed dressing.
  7. Cover with foil and bake 12–15 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • You can assemble sliders a day ahead and refrigerate. Add dressing just before baking.
  • Swap cheddar for brie for a richer flavor.
  • For a heartier version, drizzle gravy inside before baking.
  • Freeze unbaked sliders for up to 2 months—bake directly from frozen.
